By taking a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) or Master of Arts in Politics and International Relations you can design a course of study that is suited to your own research interests and career goals.
We offer postgraduate courses across the main strands of Politics and International Relations:

Our courses emphasise topical issues such as human rights, international terrorism and security, diplomacy, multicultural identity, political marketing, leadership, and politics and the media. Wherever possible, we encourage you to undertake supervised research.

Master of Arts in Politics and International Relations
120-point (one-year) MA
A BA(Hons) or PGDipArts in Political Studies or Politics and International Relations with a Grade Point Average of 5.0 or higher. There are higher requirements for some research options.
The following subjects may also be considered for entry: Anthropology, Business, Communication, Economics, Gender Studies, Governance, History, Law, Media, Organisational Studies, Philosophy, Political Science, Public Administration, Public Health, Public Management, Public Policy, Social Geography, Social Sciences, Sociology.

180-point (18-month) MA
A BA with a major in Political Studies or Politics and International Relations. You must have a Grade Point Average of 5.0 or higher in 75 points above Stage II including at least 45 points in the major.
